In a world where every duck was the same shade of yellow, artist and tattoo artist Pinkie Leenders created a colourful duck covered in circles, each representing a story, a memory, a dream, a scar or a victory.

The deep blues were the moments of doubt she had swum through. The bright yellow captured flashes of hope. Red stood for acts of courage. Purple for the lessons she had learned. Green for new beginnings. Together, they formed not chaos, but an identity.

Without confidence, what makes us different stays hidden. So Dottie was given her own crown as a symbol of self-worth.

And there she sits today: crowned and steadfast, carrying every experience as a dot on her body. She reminds everyone who looks at her that true royalty is not found in perfection. It lies in the courage to wear all your colours at once.
